Empowering women economically can be a key factor in expanding energy access, especially in hard-to-reach communities. As managers of household energy and through their social networks, women have a distinct advantage in connecting with others, raising awareness, and delivering energy products and services.

Additionally, addressing women's energy needs is essential for eliminating poverty. By selling, maintaining, and financing energy products and services, women can become catalysts for change in the energy sector.
